Deborah Hendricks

Our first collection features two women, Dingding & Deborah, in our clothes. Both of them hold full-time jobs and have never modelled before and that's what we loved about them.

Deborah works as a Client Services Specialist in a European Private Bank and we asked her 8 questions:

What do you do at work? I advise and coordinate with my team to see through deals and transactions for our private banking clients. Working behind the scenes for our international clients, answering phone calls and thinking of what dress I’ll buy after the mayhem is done.

What is one thing you like about your work? Firstly, being appreciated for the work we do and by colleagues and bosses. Secondly working with a diverse team of specialists and understanding the different roles they play in the operational smoothness of the bank.

What is the one simple thing that could make you happy? When I finally have the chance to use my blackout blinds on a weekend, not set my recurring alarm and just SLEEP to my heart’s content!

What are some little things you wish people could do to spread happiness? Always refrain from negative talk when you first greet someone, instead, give them a megawatt smile :D Always consider the feelings of the person receiving your negativity… no one likes to be reminded that it’s Monday again or that you’re upset with your boss… again. Instead, surprise them by telling them it’s going to be a GREAT day ahead and focus on the positives!

Always remember little things that people have told you about, checking back in on them or encouraging them sincerely really goes a long way! Remembering that someone is concerned is always something happy for them.

What do you wish to have more time for? The weekends. Working 5 days a week, there can never be enough weekends!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why? I would really like to go to Mongolia and camp in the wild. I like to experience new landscapes and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life, furthermore, going travelling to yet another city isn’t my idea of relaxation and exploration. I would really like to also look at Mongolian wildlife and also gaze into an unpolluted night sky… I like to think that I was born to be wild… hahaha.

If everything in your house had to be one colour, what colour would you choose? Grey.

What’s something weird that you recommend everyone trying at least once? Bat rendang!
